You are welcome with your baby or without, depending on what feels right.

What to Expect in Our Mums Classes

We keep everything simple and supportive:

  • Cosy, comfortable studio: warm in winter, cool in summer, quiet and calming

  • Babies welcome: feed, settle, cuddle, or lay them on a blanket close by

  • Judgement-free environment: movement at your pace

  • Warm instructors trained in postnatal modifications and mindful movement

  • Small groups to ensure you’re always seen and supported

Many mums find comfort in being around others navigating similar challenges, joys, exhaustion, and milestones. You’re free to be yourself …. even if that means arriving tired, emotional, or running late.

Mums & Bubs Pilates (Pilates matwork, fitballs, light weights & restance bands)

A calm, functional and supportive class focusing on core reconnection, pelvic floor integrity, posture, mobility and gentle strength building. Babies rest in prams, on blankets or close to you.

Gentle care for mothers navigating loss

If you’ve experienced miscarriage, stillbirth or loss after birth, you are welcome here. Access low-stimulus classes or private trauma-sensitive sessions. No explanations needed … come as you are.

Community & Connection

Join a welcoming community of other mums & bubs. Our classes provide a supportive environment to connect with others on the same journey.

For Mums Without Baby

Some days you may crave time just for you …. quiet, uninterrupted, restorative.

You are always welcome to join any postnatal-friendly class without bringing your little one. Many mums alternate between Mums & Bubs classes and regular Pilates, Yoga, Barre or Meditation sessions as they regain strength and routines settle.

We celebrate whatever supports your mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing.

For Mums Navigating Loss

If you have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, or the loss of a baby after birth, we see you. Your healing matters. You are welcome gently, quietly, and without needing to explain anything.

We offer:

  • Soft entry into movement
  • Options for 1:1 private sessions if group classes feel overwhelming
  • Trauma-sensitive, compassionate instructors
  • Slow-paced practices to help reconnect with your body

You can choose the class environment that feels right for your heart.

When Can You Start?

Most mums begin gentle postnatal classes from:

  • 6 weeks postpartum after a vaginal birth

  • 8–12 weeks postpartum after a caesarean section, depending on your doctor’s advice

Please ensure you have had your postnatal medical check and clearance before beginning.

If you’re unsure whether you’re ready, we’re happy to chat and help guide you.

Tips for Attending With Your Baby

You might find it useful to bring:

  • A fed baby (if possible, but no pressure)
  • A small blanket or pram
  • A favourite toy or comforter
  • Spare nappies and wipes
  • Anything that helps you both feel relaxed

And remember, it’s okay if your baby fusses or needs to be held. We understand. Truly

We recommend arriving by 10:20am (or a little earlier) so you have plenty of time to settle in, find parking, and get comfortable, especially if it’s your first visit.
