Welcome to a space designed for new mums

Our much-loved Postnatal Pilates Mums and Bubs classes have evolved into a structured 4-Week Postnatal Pilates Program designed to help new mums recover safely, move confidently and feel stronger in their bodies after birth.

Starting Tuesday morning 30 June 2026 (and recurring every 4 weeks), you’ll receive four weeks of guided Pilates, expert education and supportive community … all designed specifically for the postnatal journey.

Duration: 4 Weeks

Investment: $99 per 4-week term with Weekly Direct Debit available.

Location: The Wellness Centre, 81 Keira Street Wollongong

Qualified Women’s Health & Pilates Specialists

All instructors hold specialist training in pre and postnatal exercise, Pilates & support. As mothers themselves, they understand the physical and emotional journey of early motherhood and are passionate about helping women recover safely, regain confidence, and feel strong in their bodies again.

Mums & Bubs Pilates (Pilates matwork, fitballs, light weights & restance bands)

A calm, functional and supportive class focusing on core reconnection, pelvic floor integrity, posture, mobility and gentle strength building. Babies rest in prams, on blankets or close to you.

Gentle care for mothers navigating loss

If you’ve experienced miscarriage, stillbirth or loss after birth, you are welcome here. Access low-stimulus classes or private trauma-sensitive sessions. No explanations needed … come as you are.

Frequently asked questions

I'm new to Pilates. Is this suitable?

Absolutely. The program is designed for all experience levels.

Most mums begin gentle postnatal classes from:

  • 6 weeks postpartum after a vaginal birth

  • 8–12 weeks postpartum after a caesarean section, depending on your doctor’s advice

Please ensure you have had your postnatal medical check and clearance before beginning.

Yes, provided you have received clearance from your healthcare provider.

You can continue into the next program block and keep progressing your strength, recovery and fitness goals.

Tips for Attending With Your Baby

You might find it useful to bring:

  • A fed baby (if possible, but no pressure)
  • A small blanket or pram
  • A favourite toy or comforter
  • Spare nappies and wipes
  • Anything that helps you both feel relaxed

And remember, it’s okay if your baby fusses or needs to be held. We understand. Truly

We recommend arriving by 10:20am (or a little earlier) so you have plenty of time to settle in, find parking, and get comfortable, especially if it’s your first visit.
