In this 4 week series, your teacher will break down the basics of a pilates class – from how to set up your mat and use pilates small equipment including balls, magic circles, straps  through to the key Pilates core based exercises & breathing techniques you’ll go through in class. You will learn how to modify exercises if have injuries, restrictions or health issues. Course notes will also be provided.

New to Pilates?  There is no better place to start than at the friendly and encouraging Wellness Centre Beginners Course.

Our classes are for young and old, females & males to discover the long-lasting benefits of Pilates.  They are suitable for beginners, improvers and people with limitations due to injury or arthritis etc. They will improve your core stability, reduce back pain and increase your postural awareness.

No previous experience is needed and it is suitable for all fitness levels. You just need to bring yourself, an exercise mat and have a desire to learn & breakthrough old movement & breathing patterns. Huffing and puffing up the stairs? Carrying some extra weight? Well this is a great place to start!
Working out with others in group classes help you stay motivated and focused. The camaraderie (and discipline) of scheduled classes definitely help to keep people on track.

Also if this is your first class at the Wellness Centre we need the Pre-Exercise Questionaire & Waiver Form your first class but you can fill it out at the Studio too.  Studio Etiquette details here

Course Investment: $99  for 4 consecutive weekly classes. New members will also receive a complimentary 14 day Unlimited Pilates Pass to join our regular Pilates classes.  

Full payment is required for online bookings to confirm your place.

Online registration without payment is possible however your place is not confirmed until payment is received.
